Question by c2005rt: What are the rare series and blocks on the Old Silver Certificates currency of 1935 and 1957 1 dollar bills?
I have a bunch of Silver certificates and am wondering what series and blocks are rare and what is actually worth looking for. ex. series 1935 F series Block A to A. or Block W to I. Can anyone tell me what to look for or any resources that will help me figure this out. Thanks Everyone!

Question by Rebecca R: How much would a 1935 dollar bill be worth?
I found a dollar bill made in 1935 while I was cleaning my house and I'm wondering if its worth more than a dollar. Its in pretty good condition.

"1935 Silver Certificates in well-worn condition are worth about .00 -- lightly-worn about .00 -- crisp uncirculated about .00

If it's a Series 1935 A, with a brown Hawaii seal or a yellow North Africa seal, it's value will be much higher. "

depending on it's condition, a 1935 blue seal can vary between .00 to 50.00, signers are W.A.Julian & Henry Morgenthau,Jr. If it's been in circulation (used) don't expect much over face value. If it has holes, tears or folds you would be lucky to get face value. Check you local library under U.S. Currency to confirm.
