It depends upon the condition of the bill.

In perfect [GEM Crisp Uncirculated (65)] condition the bill could be worth $18.00. In “fine” condition it is worth about $2.50.

The series 1950 $100 note sells for $125 in grade fine and $200 in grade extra fine. The series 1950D note sells for $110 in grade fine and $125 in grade extra fine. The $1 silver certificates sell from $3 to about $8 in circulated grades. None have high value as yet. Of course if any of the notes have a star at the beginning of the serial number it has much more value. You figure a dealer pays 40% or so less. If you can aford to hold onto the notes do so, for as time goes by their value goes up.

it depends on the denomination of the certificate. i have some one dollar ones that are worth about 8-10 dollars, and some 2 dollar ones that are worth about 35 dollars.

First, silver certificates guarantee a certain amount of silver, that is now worth considerably more than a dollar.

Second, a crisp, uncirculated specimen might be valuable as a collector’s item.
